Fundashon Ambulans Deseo Boneiru: a final wish, fulfilled with love
On Bonaire, Fundashon Ambulans Deseo Boneiru (F.A.D.B.) fulfills the last wishes of people in a vulnerable phase of life. The foundation operates a specially equipped wish ambulance, originally taken over from Stichting Ambulance Wens in the Netherlands and brought to Bonaire with the support of local partners.
With a small, dedicated team and the help of volunteers, F.A.D.B. makes unforgettable moments possible for people who are immobile or seriously ill. One more visit to the beach, attending a family celebration, or enjoying a sunset together—every wish is carried out with care and compassion.
Mimi Dongen, Fundashon Ambulans Deseo Boneiru:
“Thanks to donations and the involvement of organizations, we can continue to fulfill wishes. Together with our volunteers, we ensure that every wish becomes a meaningful memory.”
The Corendon Foundation is committed worldwide to supporting projects that bring people together, create opportunities, and offer hope where it’s needed most. By supporting initiatives like F.A.D.B., the foundation aims to contribute to the communities where Corendon is active—places where care and kindness make a real difference. The collaboration with F.A.D.B. on Bonaire fits beautifully with this mission: a small gesture with a big meaning.
