On Bonaire, Fundashon Ambulans Deseo Boneiru (F.A.D.B.) fulfills the last wishes of people in a vulnerable phase of life. The foundation operates a specially equipped wish ambulance, originally taken over from Stichting Ambulance Wens in the Netherlands and brought to Bonaire with the support of local partners.
With a small, dedicated team and the help of volunteers, F.A.D.B. makes unforgettable moments possible for people who are immobile or seriously ill. One more visit to the beach, attending a family celebration, or enjoying a sunset together—every wish is carried out with care and compassion.
