The Parade Brought Colour to the Parks Once Again This Summer
This summer, The Parade once again filled the parks of Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, and Amsterdam with theatre, music, and dance. Celebrating its 35th anniversary, The Parade is the only travelling theatre festival in the world and is renowned for its accessible performances and relaxed atmosphere.
Between the carousel and the theatre tents, young creators were given extra space this year, thanks in part to support from the Corendon Foundation. As part of the youth program, they developed their own performances and brought them to life for a wide audience. This not only provided valuable stage experience, but also sparked new ideas and offered the opportunity to build a following.
We look back on a highly successful edition of The Parade, and as the Corendon Foundation, we are proud of our contribution to talent development in culture.
