Wintertuin Curaçao Festival: Art that Connects
This autumn, the Wintertuin Curaçao Festival will once again take place on Curaçao. This multidisciplinary and multilingual storytelling festival offers a diverse program for young and old, featuring music, theatre, literature, spoken word, and visual arts.
This year’s theme once again reflects the heart of the festival: stories that bring people closer together and create space for empathy, inclusivity, and mutual understanding. Both during the children’s program and the evening program for adults, local and international creators come together to share their talent with the audience.
In 2024, the Corendon Foundation supported the Wintertuin Curaçao Festival for the first time. That edition was a great success, attracting more than 800 visitors and presenting a wide variety of art forms and artists. Thanks in part to this support, the organization was able to further professionalize the festival and develop it into an important cultural meeting place on the island.
The upcoming 2025 edition builds on this success. Wintertuin Curaçao demonstrates how art and stories can contribute to connection and dialogue—values that the Corendon Foundation is proud to support.
