A Symphony of Trees and Youth: Corendon Foundation Supports Flourishing Generations II

Thanks to the support of the Corendon Foundation, the remarkable Flourishing Generations II project by NP2E became a great success in 2024.

In May, the very first symphony composed by… trees themselves echoed through the Turkish Sweetgum forest. Using sensors, the natural rhythms of trees were transformed into music, performed by Dutch and Turkish musicians. A spellbinding, UNESCO-worthy concert that demonstrated: nature is not just something to take from, but something to collaborate with.

In November, the youth program followed, in which students from the Netherlands and Türkiye planted trees together, explored sustainable forest management, and formed new friendships. The project received international support, including from the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and for the first time presented the ECO-Inspiration Award.

We are proud to have helped make this boundary-pushing project possible. Together, we are building a generation that flourishes, both in and with nature.
